What is Indivisible Polk Florida?
Indivisible Polk Florida is a grassroots movement dedicated to strengthening democracy, advancing civic engagement, and building a more inclusive and equitable Polk County. We bring together community members who believe in the power of collective action, mutual aid, and advocacy to create positive change at the local, state, and national levels.
Through community organizing, voter engagement, educational events, peaceful action, and partnerships with local organizations, we work to ensure that every voice is heard and every person is valued. Whether you're new to activism or a lifelong advocate, there's a place for you in our movement.
Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community rooted in justice, accountability, and hope.

Mutual Aid Pantry
Our Mutual Aid Pantry is a simple but powerful way neighbors help neighbors. Located at the Kitty Cat Lounge in Lakeland. Stocked through community donations and maintained by dedicated volunteers, the pantry provides free food, hygiene products, and other essential items to anyone who needs them. No questions asked, no paperwork required.
The pantry operates on a "take what you need, leave what you can" philosophy, helping ensure that people can access basic necessities with dignity and without barriers. Whether someone is experiencing a temporary hardship, waiting for a paycheck, or simply needs a little extra support, the pantry is available to serve our community.
We are always looking for additional locations to host new pantry boxes throughout Polk County. Hosting a pantry costs the business or property owner nothing. Our volunteers and community members are responsible for stocking, monitoring, and maintaining the pantry. By providing a visible, accessible location, hosts help expand access to resources and strengthen community connections.
If you are a business owner, faith organization, community center, or property owner interested in hosting a pantry, we'd love to hear from you.
